MANDATORY UPDATE - Fixes to Asset Distribution and Tax Worksheet
We have been getting a bit of feedback on our forms that reference distributees. We have examined these Distribution forms and made some changes that we believe will make them easier to use. In addition, we have made a further update to the 2008 Tax Worksheet and a change to the Asset interview that will assist in calculating distributions.
To download the update, please refer to Chapter 2, page 4 of the NEBAR - Probate System V Manual and follow the detailed instructions. You should use Internet Explorer to download the update UNLESS you have the very latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
When you download this update, you MUST run the update utility function. If you are unfamiliar with this function, it is located in the left side list on the home page of your application. Expand the file titled “Administration” (not 03. Administration but the other other one). Click on Update Utility and update the entire application.

NOTE: We are very pleased with the number of you who are remembering to update your Probate Systems. Just remember, after applying the update file, the update process involves (1) downloading the updates, (2) running then, and (3) Going into the ADMINISTRATION -> UPDATE UTILITY and choosing “1. Update Application”.
